First Steps Gathering
Whether you are new to the area and looking for a church or exploring what it means to follow Jesus, this is a great place to start. Our First Steps Gathering happens on the 1st Sunday of each month. In 20 minutes, we would like to give you an overview of what it looks like to make Sonrise your church.
When? Directly after first and second service.
Women’s Coffee and Conversation
Join us January 6th at 9:00 am for Coffee, Conversation and inspiration! Shereen Horton, will be teaching on the spiritual rhythm of Reflection on Scripture. Shereen is the mom of a college student, a teacher and quilter. She serves at Sonrise as a small group coach/leader, mentor, keyboard player and trustee. There will be light snacks, coffee and meaningful conversation. A $5 donation is appreciated.
Every month we will explore one of the seven spiritual rhythms that strengthen our walk as disciples of Christ. These rhythms from Acts 2 include: Reflection on Scripture, Prayer, Repentance, Serving the community, Sacrificial Generosity, Telling your Story and Worship. Each month will feature a different speaker with table discussion and fellowship. Save the dates!
