Our heart is to teach kids about who God is and how His word applies to their lives. Through engaging teaching, supportive environments, and close knit small group classes, we guide kids towards a better understanding of what it means to have a real relationship with God.

Our Mission
We are all about disciples making disciples at Sonrise Church – Kids are likewise encouraged as “Little Disciples”! We have the desire to walk alongside families as they strive to be like Jesus.
We want kids to serve others in the church, with family at home and in the community.
We want Kids to lead others by their example as “little disciples” being Christ for others
We want kids to grow in relationship with Christ.
We want every child to connect to God and others.
Check-in process
After entering the lobby, go down the hall past the bathrooms. The New Family Check-in will be to your immediate right. Here you will meet a PIC or Welcome Crew member who will register your child(ren), provide basic information and show you how to use our secure check-in system for future weeks. They will then walk your family to your children’s classrooms, introduce you to their teachers, and answer any questions you may have.
Check-out process
After service, you’ll go to your child's classroom(s) and present your security tag. The teachers will match your claim tag to your child's name tags and will release your child. If you don’t have your tag, we have set protocols to help in this.

We are searching for individuals who want to build friendships, make church fun, and help kids experience jesus. We'll bring all the snacks and lesson supplies, and you’ll show up ready to high-five, smile, listen, and talk about jesus. Interested? Curriculum
We use the ShareFaith curriculum for Sonrise Kids, which is packed with fun videos, activities, and worksheets that make learning Bible stories exciting for kids. This school year, we're taking a journey through the Bible, starting from Genesis, with a focus on who God is, and what He wants for us. Kids from Pre-K to 5th grade will all be learning the same stories, but we’ll adjust the lessons to fit each age group, so everyone stays engaged and gets the most out of it.
For our preschoolers, this year's themes are 'God is love' and 'God loves me.' We'll use songs and play to help little ones really connect with these ideas, so by the time they move up to Pre-K, they'll be very familiar with these truths!
